- PART I: “Navigating Caregiving Anxiety: Understanding the Gap Between Perception and Reality(Coming soon!) Understanding the three levels of anxiety, including one that is most common with caregivers, can help you quickly let go of minor worries. We have a tendency to mix these different types of anxiety, which makes it more challenging to manage. Typically, we operate at the third level of anxiety, which can overshadow the others. Recognizing this allows for clearer navigation, preventing us from feeling lost in confusion. This knowledge, along with the skills and insights you'll gain, will help keep anxiety under control.1
- PART II: Living in the Shadow of Anxiety: A Reflection of A Caregiver’s Constant Worry(Coming soon!) Part II breaks down the most common type of anxiety for caregivers (and others). The emphasis is on recognizing how we fixate on potential future problems. The personal examples and practical advice given show how to shift the focus away from anxious thoughts, including more skills that redirect the causes of caregiver anxiety.1
- PART III: Stopping the Escalation of Anxiety: A Caregiver’s Conscious Approach(Coming soon!) This lesson highlights the most common “fall-back” reactions we caregivers often have. Here, we bring together insights from all three lessons providing additional tools to help us avoid that trap and maintain a calmer mindset. These tools are surprisingly simple and easy to start implementing right away.1
